The Oke Bay Beach House is an award winning modern contemporary home, built to maximise the spectacular views of its coastal surroundings. The layout makes the property versitile, making it the perfect luxury holiday retreat for families and friends, the ideal corporate venue or a truly breathtaking intimate wedding location.

 

We welcome both visitors to our country and fellow New Zealanders keen on immersing themselves in our incredible natural surrounds. Oke Bay Beach House comes with its own mooring for easy access by boat. There are stunning walks that start right outside the back deck, including the world renowned Cape Brett walkway.

 

The home is equipped with Sky TV, Netflix, Spotify, wireless broadband, multiple TV’s, plus a Bluetooth Sonos music system throughout the house. The kitchen features twin ovens, twin dishwashers, twin large fridges, commercial ice maker, cool store fridge and large amounts of bench space. The bathrooms have full wet-wall walk-in showers, toilets, generous vanities, heated towel rails and eco-friendly amenities.

Oke Bay Beach House

Do as much or as little as you like while staying at the Oke Bay Beach House. The well stocked library has a diverse range of reading material for all ages. There’s Sky TV for sports fans, Netflix is ideal for a movie night, Spotify and Sonos to cover all music genres and Wi-Fi.

Hauai Bay and Oke Bay are within minutes walk of the house. These are sheltered bays, ideal for swimming, fishing and rock hopping. The area is an abundant natural playground that is safe for children with parental guidance.

 

For those seeking even more adventure there are many ways to do so. Some suggestions:

  • Walk the head land track – approximately 45 minutes
  • Fishing – there is good from the rocks if you don’t have a boat
  • Swimming – safe swimming with no rips or waves
  • Walks/Runs/Hikes – the headland is full of tracks to discover
  • Visit the Rock Pools – ideal for kids
  • Shell Collecting – take home some a beach memento
  • Dinner Parties – treat yourself to a private chef to cook you a gourmet dinner
  • Relaxing – you can easily find yourself a quiet spot on the property to hideaway
  • Yoga lessons – we can arrange our yoga instructor to give you lessons
  • Visit a local winery – if you don’t have a sober drive we can assist to arrange that
  • Helicopter Tour – take to the sky with Salt Air and be blown away by the incredible, natural beauty of the Bay of Islands

Hauai Bay & Oke Bay

Within minutes walk of the house are sheltered bays, great for swimming, fishing and rock hopping. The area is an abundant natural playground. Both of these bays are safe for children with parental guidance.

 

For those seeking more adventure or wanting to explore the local area, there are many ways to do so. The property has its own boat mooring with the boat ramp only 5 minutes from the house so bring your boat, jet skis & kayaks and explore the surrounding areas from the water. We can also arrange local boat trips and water taxis to take you to secluded beaches, islands and to the local town of Russell.
